Over Gasprа, Koreiz and Miskhor rises the largest landmark of the
southern coast of Crimea - Mount Ai-Petri. The top with its crowning teeth is
very similar to a dilapidated castle. The road to Ai-Petri begins in Yalta near
the sanatorium "Uzbekistan". Climbing the Ai-Petrin plateau on foot
is only possible for people who are experienced and well-trained. But there is
one more way to the top - it's a cableway, located in the village of Miskhor.

If you are not afraid of heights and are ready
for new impressions, you should definitely ride the Miskhor-Ai-Petri cableway.
This is perhaps the most picturesque road to the top of the mountain. Its
construction lasted for long twenty years from 1967 to 1987. The first part of
the cable car is a cable stretched between several supports with a height of 18
meters.

The second part
is the longest (1670 meters) unsecured road, of a similar type in Europe. In
order to ride on it, you need to sit in a closed booth, which can hold up to 30
people, and keep the camera ready. The maximum adrenaline rush will begin in
front of the top, when the cab approaches the rocks, and the angle of
inclination increases to 46 degrees.

The length of the cableway to Ai-Petri is
almost three kilometers, and all the time it takes you no more than fifteen
minutes. The route passes over the city, motorway and forest. And now you are
at the top station of the Miskhor cableway, at an altitude of 1150 meters. From
here a breathtaking panorama of the entire coast opens. In good clear weather
you can see from Hurzuf to Foros.

Above you will be offered a lot of entertainment.
You will ride on a donkey or on a snowmobile; offer a tour of the Ai-Petri
reserve or the cave Trihelaska. And, of course, a large selection of various
dishes, someone attracts to yourself in a cafe, cooking in front of you, and
someone with delicious dishes of European cuisine. Here the trade in various
souvenirs, wood, wool and stone products was widely developed.
