Cape Fiolent is a fantastically beautiful place in the Crimea, which was chosen by many categories of tourists. In particular, extremes making jumps from rocks come to the cape. The attraction is known for athletes engaged in kayaking. And, of course, beautiful views inspired many artists, poets, writers, composers.
The cape in the
south-western part of the peninsula was also liked by connoisseurs of classical
beach rest. Which is not surprising, because in this region the sea has a
bizarre emerald shade, beaches - clean, sand-pebble type.
"Jasper beach"
This is the most
modern, landscaped beach on Fiolent, to which leads a staircase of 800 steps. To
overcome such a long descent not everyone can, but instead of tourists waiting
for a cozy, clean place for sunbathing and swimming. Here, arranging guests
from Balaklava on boats. In the season Jasper beach is very crowded, there are
attractions, sunbeds, cafes and other amenities.
The recreation area "Caravel" has its own beach, which attracts tourists of different ages. Especially often come here lovers dive with a mask. For divers the greatest interest is the grotto of Diana. The beach is not quite comfortable, which scares off a large number of vacationers. It is stone, with a small amount of pebbles. On the "Caravelle" it is possible to rest in glory in seclusion, but tents here usually do not set.
"Armored", or "Cape Vinogradny", can
also be classified as "wild." In this part of the Fiolenta is very
clean, almost transparent water and you can often meet tourists with tents. The
length of the sandy-stony strip is about 250 meters. Descent to the beach leads
along a steep path
The beaches
"Autobat". They include two zones - paid and
"wild". The beach with a paid entrance is small, only about 50 meters
in length. The beach here is mostly pebbly, with small inclusions of stone. But
the "wild" zone was created for the extremals, because as such there
is no beach here. You can only settle on the rocks. But the inconvenience will
be compensated by truly unrealistic species. "Autobat" is famous for
its quaint overhanging rocks, grottoes.
"Tsarsky" Beach (or "Tsarskoe Selo") - is located near
the cape of Lermontov. The length of the beach is about 300 meters. On the
beach near the rocks live snakes. The descent to the beach is quite
comfortable, but it will take a long time. In the lower part of the descent is
equipped with a long steep metal staircase (180 steps). With tents here it is
not very convenient to stand - the beach is small and is full of large stones.
When descending - on the right side of the stairs on the "right
beach" there is a spring. When descending, be careful - cliffs and heights
do not forgive mistakes. Well, do not forget that this whole slope is a
landslide - at any moment a stone the size of a car can be rolled on top.
To the south of Tsar's beach is a nudist beach.
"Grotto of Diana". A large through
grotto in the cape, which has a large surface and underwater parts, a depth of
more than 2 meters. The underwater course is interesting for its vegetation.
Nearby are the remains of a sunken trawler. Adjacent depths from 2 to 12
meters. The grotto was named after the Greek goddess Diana. Legends say that in
these places was the grotto of Diana. Abroad, Fiolent is known as the
Parthenium - Maiden, Virgin. In the 5th century BC. Herodotus claimed that the
Virgin had its own sanctuary, where it should be, was the altar of sacrifice.
It (the sanctuary) was on the cliff, from where the victims were dumped into
the sea.
