Yalta (in ancient times Yalos, Yalita) is located on
the ancient land of Crimea, here archaeologists found objects related to the
stone and bronze centuries. The city belonged to the brands, the Genoese, and
in the 13th century, it was captured by the Ottoman Empire. After themselves,
in the vicinity of Yalta, the Turks left fountains at the water sources. The
rule of the Turks in Yalta ended after the Russo-Turkish war.

In the first few
decades, after the annexation of the peninsula to Russia, the Crimea and the

Krasnokamenka in the east, includes two cities (Yalta and Alupka) and many

Today Yalta is a beautiful, impressive, intellectual
and sunny capital of the Southern coast of Crimea. The old Yalta is
concentrated near the embankment, from where narrow, winding streets diverge in
all directions. There is something to see and enjoy with pleasure: a variety of
architectural styles, old balconies, cozy cafes and souvenir shops. In this
part of Yalta are concentrated the most prestigious hotels in which, as once,
rest famous and famous people.

Yalta also has art galleries, a theater, cultural
centers. But, unfortunately there are very few beaches near the central
embankment and they are narrow enough, that's why most hotels, mini-hotels and
sanatoriums are located on the outskirts of the city, far from the city bustle.

Thanks to the Crimean mountains, protecting Yalta from penetration of winds
from remote areas from the sea, the city can boast a curative subtropical
